Miracles do Happen. I Found my Clan in Scotland.

Before I left for Scotland, I told a neighbor that I was going on an ancestral pilgrimage. “Like, to find your clan?” he asked. “Not really,” I thought.

Well, I did find my clan. Or maybe they found me.

Here’s the story. It’s pure magic - a reminder to trust your intuition.

Cultivate a sense of wonder and awe as you follow the divine breadcrumbs. They might lead somewhere wonderful.

Clue #1: I wrote a previous blog about journeying to my paternal ancestral guides. They told me they were tribal leaders and druids, and they gifted me with an energetic transmission of sovereignty.

They vividly appeared to me on a rocky cliff with stormy clouds overhead and crashing waves below. I wondered if I might find that spot while in Scotland…

Clue #2: The day after my arrival, my dad forwarded an email from Ancestry about a famous person we’re related to: the scientist who mapped the human genome, George McDonald Church. Hmmm, MacDonald / McDonald - a Scottish clan. Could there be a connection?

Clue #3: Glen Coe. Our itinerary reads: “Glen Coe is arguably one of the most scenic places in all of Scotland. The glen is the ancestral home of Clan MacDonald, one of the most powerful tribes in all of Scotland.” There was a brutal massacre of the MacDonalds here.

At my request, my dear friend Katrina connected with the energy of Clan MacDonald for me. I looked at her and started to cry. Such a strong recognition between us.

Isle of Staffa - the spot my ancestors showed me!

Clue #4: the culmination of our travels was the Isle of Iona, the heart of Druid culture and burial place of 60 kings. As we ferried to the nearby Isle of Staffa, famous for a cave where Druidic rituals were held, I recognized it immediately.

This was the place my ancestors showed me.

Perhaps they did druidic ritual here. Or came here as kings. The MacDonalds were leaders of the western islands. They were called the Lords of the Isles until 1493 when their ancestral homeland and titles were seized by the Scottish king.

I can’t prove that I’m a MacDonald. But I know what feels true in my bones and in my blood. They are a part of me. I believe our ancestors are always with us. If you remember them, you are guided by them. You receive their gifts and get to pass them forward.

By the way, I did pause to ask myself - why all this focus on the men, on my paternal line? What does this have to do with us as women and the Return of Divine Mother?

It’s simple: we need both the Masculine and the Feminine to be acknowledged and healthy. Within each one of us. Within our ancestry. Within our society.

This journey to Scotland facilitated the healing of my paternal bloodline and my reclamation of their power. My sense is that as I result, I get to drop more deeply into my Divine Feminine receptivity and magnetism, held and protected by the Divine Masculine. It’s beautiful. And I wish this for all of us.

If you’re ready to open to ancestral blessings flowing your way, I invite you to book a Family Constellation or go deeper with my 4-month transformational program for women.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.

Deep peace of the flowing air to you.

Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.

Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
