The world is on fire. Where does that leave you?

Happy Chinese New Year! Get ready for the year of the Fire Horse. It’s looking to be unpredictable, fast and volatile.

I prepared my body for what’s ahead with a 7-day cleanse - fasting on liquid plant enzymes. There’s so much we need to purge: heavy metals, parasites, industrialized food. Check out this 60 Minutes segment on the unregulated crap in ultra-processed food.

Our leaders have failed us

I also detoxed on social media & news. Of course, the first thing I came across post detox was on the Epstein Files. It’s horrific that so many of our global leaders are pedophiles.

The power structures that enable this - built on domination, exploitation, and entitlement - need to go.

Power to the Womb-Keepers

I believe we’re on a path of purification - of disintegration of systems that benefit the few and harm many.

What that means for us: We the people get to step into our power to create a better world.

As women, we are the womb-keepers and the creators of life of all kinds. We are naturally intuitive, creative, loving and fierce. We’re called into fierceness now in defense of the world’s children.

But many of us are unsure of ourselves, feeling victimized, angry, burned out, or all of the above. How can you be fierce when your nervous system is in overload? Some ideas:

Stop outsourcing your attention to the chaos of the world

Don’t consume fear. Media practices “engagement by enragement” to keep you watching. If you find yourself addicted to the news, podcasts, social media - detox from it for a week. Spend that extra time doing what makes you vibrate high.

Tend to your body

Eat real food. Stretch, do yoga, walk, move. Let yourself cry or yell when you need to.

This will help you feel safe in yourself, no matter what’s happening outside of you.

Do a random act of kindness

We can’t control what’s happening on the world stage, but we can take small everyday actions in our communities.

Use your discernment

Don’t let anyone - especially the media or “experts” - tell you how to feel or what you should do. Practice self care. The truth is your regulated nervous system is much better than an agitated one at discerning the truth.

Get grounded and in a state of gratitude with Mother Earth

Walk. Snowshoe. Water your plants. Marvel at the beauty of creation. Anything that helps you ground and open your heart.

We’re in this together. It’s only the beginning. Trust that you’ll know what’s yours to do in divine timing.
