Do this when you feel victimized or powerless

I’m headed to Costa Rica for a women’s retreat. This will be the culmination of a two-year process in which Divine Mother has been purifying my inner world and restoring my womb’s sovereignty.

Banish People Pleasing

During this time of going inward, I ignored social media. As 2026 opened, when I thought about posting, it was a no-go for my nervous system. Turns out, I needed to work through places where I was still giving my power away to my mother’s standards and perfectionism.

I committed to stop letting fear, other people’s opinions, old traumas, conditioning, and the voice of my mother influence my choices more than my own soul does.

Whenever you identify a part of you that’s feeling victimized and powerless, go on the offense. Exercise your God-given authority.

This is the best tool I’ve found to unleash your power. Scan your body, your thoughts, your words and relationships for every way you give your power away. Choose to speak and make decisions that are true to you. The more you do this, the faster it will go.

I got my butt back on Instagram, and it’s been a powerful process. If you’re on that platform, I’m @julie.k.wood.

Feminine fierceness will fuel a new Earth

Something fierce has arisen in me as the extent of the darkness in our world comes to light. The corruption, deception and abuse of our children by those in power. This horrific war, the callous disregard for human life.

A new system of freedom and justice must emerge. It can feel overwhelming, but it’s also exciting.

I feel a determination to support women to banish people pleasing and rise as the leaders we were divinely created to be - at home, in our communities, on a larger stage - so that together we create something new and better. (In partnership with men, to be clear.)

There’s a new fearlessness in using my voice to shine a light on the truth - which I hope inspires other women to speak out. This fire is energizing. But I remind myself each day to balance it with surrender to the guidance of Mother-Father God.

You were never meant to rise alone

As all of this is integrating, I’m looking forward to being in a retreat space of sisterhood where each woman is celebrated, each voice is honored and our power is reflected back to us.

I have a vision of creating more spaces like this for women as the year unfolds. I’m looking forward to sharing more as I receive the guidance.
